We can't do it without you...

You hear it from every arts organization, but sadly it's true: ticket sales cover only a portion of the cost of bringing you the finest in historically informed performances. As a donor to the American Bach Soloists, you play a crucial role in bringing our program to as wide an audience as possible, including our new Tickets for the Schools† program.

NEW TAX INCENTIVE FOR DONORS AGED 70 ½ OR OLDER

A new tax law allows people aged 70½ or older to make charitable contributions directly from their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA). This new law means that a qualified donor can make a gift to the American Bach Soloists from an IRA without claiming it as taxable income or using it as a deduction—in effect, having no impact on income or taxes. The gift counts toward the annual required minimum distribution.

Simply contact your IRA custodian for the necessary forms to transfer a gift to ABS.

For more information, consult your financial advisor, or call us at 415-621-7900.

Gifts to American Bach Soloists are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Certain benefits have a fair market value (indicated above) that must be deducted from your gift to determine the tax-deductible portion of the contribution. You may elect to decline all the benefits in your giving category, and receive a tax-deduction of the full value of your gift.
