| JENNIFER ELAINE YOUNG (soprano)
has recently moved to Berkeley from Boston, where she earned
a Master of Music degree with distinction in Vocal Performance
from the Longy School of Music and an AB cum laude in Music
from Harvard University. During 2004-2005 she sang as a member
of San Francisco Choral Artists with conductor Magen Solomon.
Being fanatical about art song, Jennifer performed in many
recitals in the Boston area. Other appearances include the
role of Josephine in Gilbert and Sullivan's H.M.S.
Pinafore with the Somerville Community
Chorus, the title role in the Boston premiere of Giovanni
Bononcini's baroque opera, The
Triumph of Camilla, and a role in the Newton Symphony's
concert production of Puccini's Madama Butterfly.
