SIGMUND SIEGEL (tenor) is graduate of Music and Art High School in New York City and received a M.M. in voice on full scholarship at Stony Brook, SUNY. He has sung roles with Sacramento Opera,San Francisco Opera and Pocket Opera. Mr. Siegel has sung with the Sanford Dole Ensemble as soloist as well as in the ensemble and he has been a member of the regular full time chorus of San Francisco Opera for 31 seasons. He is featured in the Academy Award-winning documentary movie about opera singers, In the Shadow of the Stars. He has been tenor soloist at Temple Em-Manuel in San Francisco since 2003 and maintains a busy schedule singing in many churches as well as teaching voice.
