| DEBORAH ROSENGAUS (mezzo-soprano) was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has gone on to perform internationally in Eastern Asia and Australia, with recitals in Italy, Mexico and across the United States. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music and Master's in Vocal Performance from the Manhattan School of Music where she studied in the studio of international opera diva Mignon Dunn. She has recently won first place at the Pacific Musical Society Competition and the Nora and Nate Schoenfeld Award at the Holt Scholarship Competition. Some of her opera credits include Cendrillon, Die Fledermaus, as well as new operas including Griffelkin by Lucas Foss and the world premiere of Dodici Personaggi in Cerca di Voce by La Scala's Bruno Rigacci. Locally she has sung with Opera San Jose, Pocket Opera, American Bach Soloists and Bay Area Classical Harmonies. In addition to her opera career, Ms. Rosengaus has enjoyed a varied choral career singing in Avery Fisher Hall, Carnegie Hall, Santori Hall in Tokyo, and Disney Hall with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
