JASON PYSZKOWSKI (viola) completed his undergraduate education at Baldwin-Wallace College in Ohio, receiving his degree in Viola Performance with additional training in choral singing, Baroque and Renaissance chamber music, and cognitive neuroscience. His graduate studies were with Jodi Levitz (viola), Elizabeth Reed (viola da gamba), and Corey Jamason (Baroque orchestral studies). Mr. Pyszkowski now splits his career between performance and administration, holding the position of Youth Orchestra Manager with the San Francisco Symphony. Additionally, he is a violist with the American Bach Soloists, and San Francisco Bach Choir.

When not practicing or performing, he enjoys spending time in the kitchen. Having been an assistant and prep chef to an artisanal butcher and sausage maker while in college, he is passionate about exploring all the many and varied choices of raw ingredients that the Bay Area has to offer and what they might become when combined.
