| ANDREW MORGAN
(tenor) has appeared with numerous groups throughout the
Bay Area, including Chanticleer, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra,
the American Bach Soloists, Magnificat, the San Francisco
Symphony Chorus, and the West Marin Music Festival. On stage,
Mr. Morgan has appeared with Berkeley Opera, Pocket Opera,
and West Bay Opera, among others, in roles ranging from Ferrando
in Cosi fan tutte to Tony in West Side Story.
No stranger to contemporary music, Mr. Morgan has created
roles in several premier operas, including The Dreamers by
David Conte and Philip Litell. Active as a stage director,
he has worked with such companies as Pocket Opera, Berkeley
Opera, and Bay Shore Lyric Opera. Most recently, he staged
a critically acclaimed production of Donizetti's Elixir
of Love for Livermore Valley Opera. Other notable productions
include Janacek's Jenufa (San Francisco City
Opera) and Rossini's Italian Girl in Algiers (Riot
Grrrl on Mars, Berkeley Opera).
