KATHERINE HEATER performs frequently
on harpsichord and organ with such Bay Area groups as the California
Bach Society, Teatro Bacchino, and Magnificat. She is a member
of the North Carolina-based trio Ensemble Vermillian and has
performed in Iceland, Taiwan, France and the Netherlands. Ms.
Heater received her BA in music from UC Berkeley, her MM in
historical performance from Oberlin College and an artist diploma
from the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam. An active teacher,
she directs the San Francisco Early Music Society's summer children's
camp, Music Discovery Workshop.
