| JEREMY GALYON (bass) is from Bethlehem PA. As an Adler Fellow at San Francisco Opera, he has appeared in productions of Un Ballo in Maschera, Rigoletto, Il Barbiere di Seviglia, and Manon Lescaut, among others. Concert and oratorio performances have included Mozart's Thamos, King of Egypt with San Francisco Symphony, Faure's Requiem and Handel's Messiah with Mid-America Productions at Carnegie Hall, Bach cantatas with the Bethlehem Bach Choir, and regional performances of Brahms' German Requiem, Durufle's Requiem, Haydn's Creation and Mass in Time of War, Mendelssohn's Elijah, and Verdi's Requiem, as well as NPR broadcasts.
While a four year Resident Artist with Tri-Cities Opera, Galyon performed the roles of Figaro (Le Nozze di Figaro), Crespel (Les Contes d'Hoffmann), Sparafucile (Rigoletto), Angelotti (Tosca), Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), Colline (La Boheme), Dulcamara (Elisir d'Amore), Morales (Carmen), and Melchoir and Balthazar (Amahl & the Night Visitors). Other operatic appearances include Raimondo (Lucia di Lammermoor) also with Tri-Cities Opera, Masetto (Don Giovanni) and Larkens (La Fanciulla del West) with the Glimmerglass opera, Theseus (A Midsummer Night's Dream) with Chicago Opera Theater, 2nd Armored Man (Die Zauberflöte) with Florida Grand Opera, and Nick Shadow (The Rake's Progress) with the San Francisco Opera's Merola Program.
