JULIA EARL (soprano) has performed in oratorio, recital, opera, and vocal chamber music, concentrating on early music and music of the twentieth century. As a founding member of American Bach Soloists, she has performed under the baton of maestro Jeffrey Thomas for since 1990 and has recorded nine CDs with the organization. She has performed as soloist with the San Francisco Lyric Chorus, the Baroque Arts Ensemble, the San Francisco Choral Artists, the Renaissance Chorus and Orchestra, the West Marin Music Festival, and American Bach Soloists. Other appearances have included Composers, Inc., the Mark Morris Dance Company, the Berkeley Early Music Festival, San Francisco Noontime Concerts, and the Ojai Music Festival.
