| MICHAEL EAGAN (archlute)
performs throughout the world and records with American Bach
Soloists, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Boston Baroque and
Musica Pacifica, and has appeared with the New York Collegium,
the Handel & Hadyn Society, Chicago's Music of the Baroque,
Seattle Baroque Orchestra, La Petite Bande, Musica Antiqua,
Collegium Vocale, and Il Complesso Barocco, as well as the
Netherlands Opera Company, Santa Fe Opera, Opera Theatre St.
Louis, Utah Opera, Ohio's Opera/Columbus, Los Angeles Opera
and Chamber Orchestra, and Long Beach Opera. He has performed
with artists including Christopher Hogwood, Nicholas McGegan,
Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Ton Koopman, René Jacobs, Philippe
Herreweghe, and Sigiswald and Wieland Kuijken. Mr. Eagan records
for EMI, Harmonia Mundi, Koch International, Virgin Classics,
Telarc, Dorian, Well-Tempered Productions, Apollo Amused and
Windham Hill. He is Music Director of the critically acclaimed
Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra, based in Los Angeles. He
is also a composer for television, stage, film and the concert
hall, and was a recipient of the Henry Mancini Award for the
composition of music for motion pictures and television films.
The Los Angeles Guitar Quartet recorded Mr. Eagan's "Red,
White, Black 'n' Blue," on their best-selling CD, Labyrinth,
released on Delos in 1995.
