| STEPHEN BARD
(oboe) received degrees in Historical Oboes and Computer Science
from Oberlin College and Conservatory of Music, where he studied baroque oboe with James Caldwell. He is a member of Portland Baroque and performs frequently with early music ensembles in the US and abroad including Tafelmusik, Philharmonia, Le Concert d'Astrée, Brandywine Baroque, Chicago Opera Theater, and Tempesta di Mare. He has also recorded extensively with the Aradia Ensemble for Naxos. Stephen teaches at Oberlin's Baroque Performance Institute and will be joining the faculty of Peabody Conservatory in the fall of 2007. |
