| CYNTHIA ALBERS (violin) has performed medieval to classical music on historical instruments throughout the United States, Europe and China. In recent years she has performed primarily with the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and American Bach Soloists, and has recorded with these ensembles for the Koch International and Deutsche Harmonia Mundi labels. Ms. Albers graduated with distinction from the Indiana University Early Music Institute, where she studied with Stanley Ritchie. She lives in Sebastopol, runs a thriving private teaching studio and is a Program Director for the Sebastopol Independent Charter School. During the summer months she plays classical and folk music with Shira Kammen, for whitewater rafting trips on the Rogue and Klamath Rivers.
